IPRT Launch: Report on Reintegration of Prisoners in Ireland

26th May 2010

What happens to prisoners when they are released from prison in Ireland?

IPRT's new research report, "...It's like stepping on a landmine": Reintegration of Prisoners in Ireland aims to provide a comprehensive vista of what actually faces prisoners returning to the community, and how well their needs are met by the availability of services.

In light of recent positive developments and worrying cutbacks, IPRT sets forth its recommendations and findings on the possibility for reintegration of prisoners in Ireland.
