Hands Up for Children!

Hands up for ChildrenIPRT is delighted to be part of the Hands Up for Children campaign, which believes that smart investment in children is the best way to secure Ireland’s future. The campaign aims to ensure that Prevention and Early Intervention is included as a priority in the next programme for government.

In particular, the campaign is calling for an increased investment in prevention and early intervention for children and families, and a commitment to gradually realigning resources from crisis driven interventions to preventative ones. It is cost effective to intervene early. Prevention is better than cure.

Hands Up for Children is an initiative of the Prevention and Early Intervention Network (of which IPRT is a member) and all interested organisations and individuals can sign up as campaign partners and supporters.
