Overcrowding is now a major issue is Irish prisons, new report says

The article from the Liberal covers the Council of Europe’s report on chronic overcrowding and quotes IPRT’s response to the CPT report. It quotes IPRT Executive Director, Saoirse Brady, warning that prison conditions have reached an “unacceptable and unsafe level” and urging urgent reform.
