The 4th annual Criminal Law Conference will take place at University College Cork on Friday 11th June.
The conference theme this year is 'Accommodating Victims in the Criminal Justice System: An Inclusionary or Punitive Logic?'.
Speakers at the event include Mr Justice Paul Carney, Mr James Hamilton DPP, Ms Patricia Brazil of Trinity College and Ms Ursula Kilkelly, of UCC, who will be closing the event.
The conference speakers will delve into the realities of the criminal justice system as faced by the victims, and will be covering topics ranging from restorative justice and the criminal justice response to rape, to the services and legislative provisions for victims.
