Courts Service Annual Report for 2014: update on fines

The Courts Service Annual Report for 2014 has been published.

On launching the report, Minister for Justice and Equality, Frances Fitzgerald TD, said that the ICT changes required for commencement of the Fines (Payment and Recovery) Act 2014 will be completed in autumn 2015. This will facilitate payment of fines by instalment, attachment of earnings for unpaid fines, community service and the appointment of receivers.
