Applications are invited for the post of Development and Administrative Executive with the Irish Penal Reform Trust (IPRT). The successful candidate will be responsible for the practical aspects of the implementation of the fundraising and sustainability strategy for the organisation (c.60% of role) as well as providing some day to day administrative support (c.30% of role) and EU project support (c.10% of role).

IPRT is a small and vibrant organisation and this role will be one of four full-time posts: an Executive Director who reports to a voluntary Board of Directors; a Deputy Director and an Employment Based PhD candidate. We are supported in our work through our structured internship programme.
About the Role
The post offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious candidate to work in a high profile, dynamic and effective non-governmental organisation.
The Development and Administrative Executive will work closely with the Deputy Director and the Executive Director to deliver a multi-tiered fundraising strategy and secure both core and project income from sources ranging from individuals to charitable trusts. S/he will lead on securing fundraising income from grants and trusts, fundraising campaigns and events and corporate sponsorship to the growth of organisation income. S/he will also provide general administrative support to the office and to our EU funded projects.
This position is full time for a fixed period of six months with the possibility of extension.
