Spring Volunteer Opportunities
The Irish Penal Reform Trust (IPRT) is Ireland's leading non-governmental organisation campaigning for the respect of human rights in the penal system, and for imprisonment to be used only as a last resort. We publish a wide range of policy and research documents; we campaign vigorously across a wide range of penal policy issues; and we are the leading independent voice in public debate on the Irish penal system.
We are now inviting applications for the Spring Policy & Advocacy volunteer placement (on a part-time basis of 2.5 days per week February-June 2020).
Volunteer work is an integral part of the IPRT team, supporting our policy, research, advocacy and communications activities. Volunteer placements are unpaid, and unfortunately IPRT is not in a position to contribute to volunteers’ costs of living or travel.
Application Process
The deadline for applications is Wednesday 8th of January 2020.
Shortlisted applicants may be invited for interview, which are expected to take place on Friday 17th of January 2020. All applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application.
Please read IPRT’s Volunteer Guidelines document in advance. Applicants must complete IPRT’s Volunteer Application Form, send a curriculum vitae and read our recruitment privacy notice. These documents should be submitted to: info@iprt.ie
