IPRT was please to attend the launch of a Thematic Inspection on Education & Work Training: Wheatfield Prison, Mountjoy Men’s Prison & Arbour Hill Prison (April-June 2022) on 23 June 2023. We welcome the report and sharing of expertise between the Inspectorates - Office of the Inspector of Prisons and Department of Education Inspectorate School Self-Evaluation.
The launch is particularly timely given that the first meeting of the Prison Education Taskforce took place just last month, chaired by Ministers Simon Harris and James Browne.
