The IPRT's 7th Annual Conference - "Juvenile Justice in Ireland: Critical Perspectives, Human Rights & Good Practice" - was held on November 1st, 2003 in Dublin. The conference featured presentations on various aspects of the youth justice system in Ireland, as well as some examples of the process of reform from the UK. This issue of Penal Reform News reviews the conference proceedings, and summarises the presentations of the plenary sessions.
