Spent Convictions Scheme report launched

The report of the Spent Convictions Group was launched on Thursday, 14th May, at the Law Society, Blackhall Place, by Mr. John Lonergan, Governor of Mountjoy Prison.

The report, entitled “Disclosure of Criminal Convictions: Proposals for a Rehabilitation of Offenders Scheme”, is the result of research undertaken by the Human Rights Committee of the Law Society, in conjunction with Ballymun Community Law Centre, Ballymun Local Drugs Task Force, Business in the Community, Northside Community Law Centre and Northside Partnership.
