The 2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Irish Penal Reform Trust (IPRT) took place in-person in Outhouse, Capel Street, Dublin on Wednesday 20 September 2023. At the AGM, reports on activities and developments during 2022–2023 were presented to members present by Chairperson Dr Seamus Taylor and Executive Director Saoirse Brady. Treasurer Kevin Gregory gave a financial report for the year ended 31 December 2022. The IPRT Annual Review 2022–2023 was launched at the AGM.
Prison members' voices
In the lead up to the event, IPRT members who are in prison were asked to share their thoughts and experiences of the last year. An overview of the general themes and issues raised were presented to IPRT members present at the AGM to give a voice to IPRT members in prison as part of the event.
