Mental health charity Together has launched a new common sense guide that offers criminal justice staff the tools to identify and address the health and well-being needs of women offenders. Written by front-line forensic mental health practitioners, the guide offers practical guidance in four main areas:
It also provides a quick reference guide to common health and well-being problems experienced by women in the criminal justice system, including, but not limited to, trauma, self-harm, alcohol and substance misuse and domestic violence and abuse.
