Autumn/Winter Volunteer Opportunities
The Irish Penal Reform Trust (IPRT) is Ireland's leading non-governmental organisation campaigning for the respect of human rights in the penal system, and for imprisonment to be used only as a last resort. We publish a wide range of policy and research documents, we campaign vigorously across a wide range of penal policy issues, and we are the leading independent voice in public debate on the Irish penal system.
We are now inviting applications for the Autumn/Winter Policy & Advocacy volunteer programme (on a part-time basis, September 2021-January 2022).
Volunteer work is an integral part of the IPRT team, supporting our policy, research, advocacy and communications activities. Volunteer placements are unpaid. Therefore, IPRT aims to facilitate flexibility in volunteer hours to support the work and study needs of our volunteers.
Application Process
The closing date for receipt of applications is Monday 21st June 2021. Shortlisted applicants are expected to be invited for a remote interview during the week of 28th June 2021. All applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application.
