Office of the Inspector of Prisons Annual Report 2023 published

On 28 February 2025, the Minister of Justice Jim O' Callaghan published the Office of the Inspector of Prisons Annual Report 2023. The report was submitted to the Department of Justice on 29 March 2024 of the previous year, almost a year before it was published. This marks the 13th Annual Report from the Office, providing insights into its work over the past year.

Irish Penal Reform Trust Executive Director, Saoirse Brady, responded to the publication in the Irish Times letters.
