Office of the Inspector of Prisons publishes information booklet

The Office of the Inspector of Prisons (OIP) has developed an information booklet for people in custody. The booklet has been provided to the Irish Prisons Service for distribution to prisoners. 

The booklet covers information about the Office of the Inspector of Prisons. This includes information on the role of the Inspectorate and practical information such as what an inspection looks like and details of the methods used during an inspection.
