One of the authors of IPRT’s Care and Justice (2019) report featured on a recent episode of The Care Experience Podcast. The podcast, delivered by EPIC, explores the experiences of care-experienced people.
The recent episode explores the relationship between the justice system and the care system. Hosts Thomas and Peter speak to Professor of Criminology Dr Nicola Carr about an exploratory study she carried out with Dr Paula Mayock on behalf of IPRT in 2019. The episode also features insights from EPIC Advocates, Fiona Murray and John Murphy, who share their practical knowledge, and their experience with young people who may have found themselves in contact with the justice system.
