Irish Penal Reform Trust (IPRT) is delighted to be the civic society project partner for the research report Access to Justice: Legal Pathways to Justice for the Rights of People in Prison authored by Dr Amina Adanan with the research assistance of Andrea Pownall (both of School of Law and Criminology, Maynooth University).

The report analyses the barriers and issues that arise in public interest prison law in Ireland and is funded by the Irish Research Council.

The report was due to be launched online on 26 September 2024 at 2pm (online) by David Fathi (Director of the American Civil Liberties Union National Prison Project) and chaired by Saoirse Brady (Executive Director of Irish Penal Reform Trust).
